Apple 今天正式发布 iOS 13.5 更新，主要都与新型冠状病毒有关，其中最引人关注的就是解决使用 Face ID 解锁手机的困扰。毕竟因疫情蔓延，不少人都戴起口罩，不过 Face ID 解锁手机时却必须经过几次的尝试失败后才显示输入密码的界面，要是在紧急时刻可叫人捉狂。
在更新到 iOS 13.5 后，手机在侦测到使用者戴着口罩时将会略过 Face ID 机制，直接显示输入密码的界面。根据 Apple 贴出的更新日志，新的 Face ID 解锁机制 也适用于 App Store、 Apple Pay、 iTunes 或是其他第三方采用 Face ID 解锁的应用程序。有关更新前后的差异可参考下方 9to5Mac 的视频（6:40 秒起）。
此外， iOS 13.5 也加入了 Apple 和 Google 两大巨头合作开发的追踪新型冠状病毒患者的功能——Exposure Notification API（中译“暴露通知 API ”），让公共卫生部门所开发的应用程序能更好地追踪到确证患者所接触过的人士，并尽早针对这些人采取应对措施，遏制病毒进一步传播开来。不过目前看来目前仅有几个国家支持这项功能？希望马来西亚卫生部推出的新型冠状病毒追踪应用程序能尽早支持这个 API。
另外一些比较小的更新就是 Face Time 视讯通话时能够关闭自动将正在说话的参与者头像自动放大的效果，因为不少使用者反映若是有人插话或是和视讯外的人说话， Face Time 也会将他的头像放大，造成非常混乱的效果，在更新到 iOS 13.5 后，就能在 Setting > FaceTime > 关闭 “Automatic Prominence” 即可。

iOS 13.5 speeds up access to the passcode field on devices with Face ID when you are wearing a face mask and introduces the Exposure Notification API to support COVID-19 contact tracing apps from public health authorities. This update also introduces an option to control automatic prominence of video tiles on Group FaceTime calls and includes bug fixes and other improvements.

- Fixes an issue where users may see a black screen when trying to play streaming video from some websites
- Addresses an issue in the share sheet where suggestions and actions may not load
