Nokia 马来西亚透过Facebook宣布，旗下中端机型的Nokia 4.2于4月26日发售，定价为RM599。
Nokia 4.2 是HMD Global在MWC大会上发布的其中一款Android One手机，运行原生Android 9 Pie系统，为使用者带来长达三年的安全更新及2年的Android版本升级。今年，HMD Global进一步拉近与Google的合作，在Nokia 4.2的左侧加入了一颗独立的Google Assistant按键，方便使用者一键唤起Google Assistant。

Nokia 4.2配有5.2″ 水滴屏设计，解析度达1520×720，性能方面这款手机采用高通骁龙439处理器，搭配2GB RAM + 16GB ROM / 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM的内存选择，同时支持最高400GB的记忆卡扩充。Nokia 4.2后置13MP标准 (f/2.2, 1.122µm) + 2MP 景深 (f/2.2,1.75µm)双镜头，前镜头则是8MP (f/2.2,1.12µm)。
继航方面，Nokia 4.2内置3000mAh电池，借由Android Pie的Adaptive Battery及Adaptive Brightness，能有效提升续航时间。Nokia 4.2支援指纹辨识及人脸解锁。有趣的是，这款手机依然保留了通知呼吸灯，而且就整合在右侧的电源键上，Nokia 4.2同时也保留了3.5mm耳机孔的设计。
