Twitter 的高层表示目前比例太长/太宽的照片依然会裁切娶正中央部分。根据小编的测试， 4:3、3:4、3:2、2:3 及 16:9 都能完整的显示，然而 9:16 依然会被裁切。早前, WhatsApp 也宣布照片及视频的预览不在单一地以 1:1 显示。此外，网页端的 Twitter 依旧没有适配这项更新。

Twitter 宣布 Android 及 iOS 平台应用程序支持 4K 解析度照片。

知名社交平台 Twitter 宣布正针对包含图片的推文进行两项测试，未来使用者将能够透过应用程序上传及查看 4K 解析度的照片。现有图片上传最大解析度为 2048×2048，凡是超过这个解析度将会被自动压缩。

目前，4K 图片正在 Android 及 iOS 两大操作系统的使用者展开测试。若是你在 Twitter 应用程序设置当中前往 “Data Usage” 页面，并将 “High-quality image uploads” 从 “Never” 更改成 “Only on Wi-Fi” 或是 “On cellular of Wi-Fi” 即可，不过必须注意上传图片容量不得大于 5MB。
不仅如此，未来在包含单张照片的推文显示格式也将更改，目前在时间线上图片将自动被裁切到接近 2:1 的比例，若是 1:1 或是其他比例的照片的就必须点开贴文才能看见完整的内容，在显示效果就不尽人意，也容易让人误解。在新界面中，即使是纵向或是 4:3比例的照片将能够完整显示，大大提高使用者体验。
不过 Twitter 设计部门高层表示超出特定比例的图片仍会被裁切，但没有明确说明具体的尺寸 / 比例。Twitter 4K 照片及推文界面正透过随机方式在 Android 及 iOS 平台测试，官方并没有透露这两项更新具体推出的计划。
